London Fashion Week has recently finished and it told everyone what to expect for the season ahead. Next spring is looking like it’s going to jammed packed with lots of different trends, florals and pastels made a usual appearance at the spring shows but there were more tougher options like torn denim and the ever classic monochrome were on several of the catwalks. London Fashion Week didn’t show us the clothes we’ll be wearing but the big trends for beauty, here is a quick summary.
Nude nails are back again so keep Nails Inc Porchester Square, Barry M Gelly Lychee, Revlon Bare Bones and Dior Safari Beige ready.
Matte nails were pretty popular on the catwalk, Victoria Beckham had matte nude nails while Sophia Webster went for matte silver. To achieve matte nails, you could invest matte nail polishes but the easiest and cheapest way to capture this trend is to invest in a matte top which turn all of your nail polishes matte. Rimmel’s Matte Top Coat is really good and cheap.
different designs of nail were at the shows everything from the half moon manicure, to floating lines to floral designs on the catwalks. To achieve most nail trends, dotting tools are your best friend but if you want more detailed works of art but don’t want the hassle of doing it, go for nail wraps.
Ponytails are back for next season, lots of different styles of ponytails were at the shows. Emilio De La Morana went for low ponytails while Anya Hindmarch had super glossy ponytails and Julian MacDonald had no visible hair tie and Jil Sander has side parted pony tails.
Straight, sleek locks were choice of Anthony Vaccarello, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karen and Proenza Schouler.
Giles, Christopher Kane, Vera Wang and Burberry Prorsum went for a minimal, no make-up make-up look and I’ve got say that is my favourite look on the catwalks.
Pastels were the choice for Prada, the models were in greens and yellows, Burberry had pale pink
Gucci and Donna Karen favoured bronze shades on the eyelids.
Big, statements are brows are back for another season.
