This spring, bright and neon polishes are going to be big news again. One of the tricks to make neon polishes pop is to use a white nail polish underneath a bright or neon polish to get the full effect of your chosen polish. I think that’s a little too much for my nails to use two polishes and it takes too long to use a base coat, a white polish, a bright polish and a top coat. This is where Nails Inc.’s Soho Silk base coat comes in. It’s a traditional base coat, it designed to strengthen nails and prevent staining but it has a white tone to it so it provides a blank canvas for bright polish.
As always, I’m a massive fan of Nails Inc. and I think this is a great base coat, not only does it strengthen the nail but it seems to prevent chipping really well. I notice a difference in the longevity of my manicure when I use this. It’s not a gimmick to use a white polish underneath a neon polish, the white really brings a neon shade to life.
Have you tried using a white polish underneath neon nail polish?
