Do you ever hear beauty news and immediately get really excited? That’s how I felt when I read Laura Mercier was launching a new foundation. If you read my blog regularly, you’ll know I love Laura Mercier base products, the tinted moisturisers are amazing and the mineral powder is one of the few powder foundations I like.
The latest foundation is called Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide. It’s described as “light weight textures that are comfortable and flex with your skins natural movement.”. It comes in twenty four shades which is fantastic. The formula is activated by shaking so the colour is perfect every time. Also the packaging looks really practical and perfect for keeping in a makeup bag without risk of it smashing. It’s priced at £34 and it launches on September 1st at all counters.
I personally cannot wait for this foundation. Laura Mercier does amazing base products and I have high hopes for this.
Laura Mercier is also expanding the Verbena bath and body range to include a Gel Body Scrub and Dry Oil Body Mist.
Verbena Infusion Gel Body Scrub contains a multi-vitamin complex (A, B, C & E)” and natural coconut water for moisture. It has top notes of Pomelo, Blackcurrant and Spearmint, heart notes of Verbena, Fresh Rose and Magnolia and base notes of Cedarwood, White Amber and Plum. It’s priced at £33 and launches this month.
The Dry Oil Body Mist is described as “fast absorbing, lightweight dry oil formula” which “delicately mositurises and refreshes the skin with each spritz”. Like the gel scrub it contains Natural Coconut Water for hydration. It has top notes of Pomelo, Blackcurrant and Spearmint, heart notes of Verbena, Fresh Rose and Magnolia and base notes of Cedarwood, White Amber and Plum. It’s priced at £37 and is available from this month.
