Nuxe Spring Pamper Hamper

I know the weather right now is horrible but spring will soon be here, and that means it’s time to get ready for warmer weather. I’ve compiled a little list of the Nuxe products I think would help me get ready for spring.

Gentle Exfoliating Gel with Rose Petals

My skin has went a little crazy during the winter, I’ve had breakouts but my skin has been quite dehydrated. I tend to really detox my skin in the period leading up to Spring so I can wear less makeup and avoid that feeling of too much makeup in hot weather. This has lots of lovely ingredients like Rosemary which is good for blemishes.

Crème Fraîche de Beauté Mask

My skin is definitely in need of a little bit of TLC after the winter and I think this mask would be perfect to use after the Exfoliating Gel.  This mask is designed to hydrate the skin and soothe any irritation. I particularly like the sound of this mask because you can apply to the eye area and I’ve noticed my under eyes have been particularly dehydrated over the winter months.

Fondant Body Scrub

Now the warmer weather is nearly upon us, it means its time to get rid of the winter boots and big coats for lighter layers. I have to confess, I’m pretty lazy with body products during the winter so the Spring means time to dig out body scrubs and moisturisers. This sounds like it will smell delicious because it contains Orange Flower Petals and I love anything with a zesty scent.

Huile Prodigieuse

Nuxe Dry Oil is legendry, it can be used anywhere from body, to face to hair to cuticles for intense moisture and hydration. I’m a big fan of oils because I think they work so much better than a cream or a lotion and I like using multi-purpose products. During the hotter weather, I notice my hair gets a little dry with the sun so this sounds perfect and it will be perfect to use after the Fondant Body Scrub.

Baume Prodigieux Lèvres

During spring I tend to move away from the lipsticks and embrace lighter, more shimmery options. This pink lip gloss looks really pretty and perfect for the more natural makeup looks but still provides moisture for the post-winter dry lips.

Rêve de Miel Ultra-Comfortable Foot Cream

Spring means sandals and sandals means showing the feet which have lived in boots for the last three months so a foot cream is a must. I’ve tried the Nuxe Reve de Miel hand cream and I loved it so I’m expecting the foot cream to be amazing too.

Nuxe Reve de Miel

Nuxe with title

If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know I’m a huge fan of Nuxe Reve de Miel. I’ve been using this lip balm for years, I started using it when it was quite difficult to find in the UK. If you have seriously dry, chapped, sore lips, you need to try this lip balm. I have a real problem with dry lip but this is my saviour.

There is two types of Reve de Miel, the pot lip balm and the stick version. I’ve read lots of things online about the stick not being as good as the pot version so I thought I would do a little post comparing the post.

The pot version is much thicker than the stick balm. I think of the pot version as a treatment to put on my lips overnight to hydrate and heal my lips. The consistency is much thicker, a little like an emollient. The smell is also amazing, it’s smells citrusy, I love it. The stick version doesn’t have the same intense hydration but its fantastic for on the go because I don’t want to be putting my fingers in a lip balm pot when I’m out and about. The stick is great for adding a bit of moisture during the day or acting as barrier from the bitterly cold winds.

I have both and I’ve repurchased time and time again. I always keep the pot beside my bed and I use it every night without fail and I use it during the day if my lips are really sore. As for the stick version, I always have one in my handbag and even I buy other lip balms, this one always stays with me.

If you want to try either one of the lip balms or maybe both, check out Nuxe’s official website.

Have you tried either Reve de Miel?

Christmas Gift Guide #5

Without further ado, here is my fifth Christmas gift guide.

Diptyque Christmas Candles
Every year Diptyque release limited edition Christmas Candles and every year, they’re amazing. The packaging is changed and glass votive has special Christmas themed designs but most importantly, they smell of Christmas. There is Ecorce De Pin which smells like pine Christmas trees as the name would suggest and it’s beautiful. The second candle is Encens Des Indes which smells quite woody and spicy, I think this one is slightly stronger than Ecorce De Pin. The third option is Orange Chaya which smells like oranges and cinnamon.

Laura Mercier Lux Colour Wardrobe Duel Decker Colour for Eye and Cheeks

Laura Mercier has definitely won the prize for the best Christmas gift sets, you could get all your gifts from Laura Mercier. I’ve already mentioned a few of the sets before but I think this is just amazing and I don’t think anyone who likes beauty would be disappointed with this. It has almost everything you need, eight eyeshadows,  three Tightline Eye Cakes, an eye pencil, a highlighter, two blushers and tools.

Nuxe Cocooning Must Haves

Nuxe is a really lovely brand, this set has the amazing lip balm, hand cream and body oil. I think this is a perfect for someone who prefers skincare to makeup or a gift for someone who you’re unsure about picking makeup for. I have these three products and I love them.

Kiehls Lip Balm Set

If you know someone who loves lip balm, I think this is a perfect gift. Kiehls lip balms are really good and this set has three full size lip balms for £19 which I think is good value for money (one lip balm is £12.50)

Nuxe Reve de Miel Moisturising Stick

I have enough lip balm to last me a lifetime but Nuxe Reve de Miel is one of favourites, it’s my saviour during the winter for chapped lips but recently I tried a new lipstick and I took a really bad allegic reaction so I immediately bought this.

I use a whole of tub of this during the winter and as much as I love it, I prefer lip balms in a tube because I think it’s more hygienic. The packaging is really small and simple, it’s perfect for carrying around in my handbag. This lip balm is just as good as the version in the tub, it feels really thick and moisturising on the lips and it lasts for about four or five without being reapplied and even after it’s worn off, my lips still feel hydrated, it doesn’t leave the lips glossy and sticky.

Overall, this lip balm is one of my absolute favourite beauty products, I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from dry lips because it’s incredibly moisturising and it hasn’t left my handbag since I got it.

It’s available from Marks and Spencer and Feel Unique.
